Double Trouble

Remembering back when we were young

 Looking innocent and having fun

Taught good manners , pleasant and petite
Just 2 good girls oh so sweet

People would pass by and say
"Hey little girls" Have a nice day
Never really seeing the devils underneath
We were smiling away while gritting our teeth

We had a few ideas for a sassy friend
Whom loved to bully so we had to defend
She spread those rumors in the class and halls
We taught her the biggest lesson of all

We were double trouble in every single way
From clashing with the teachers to sourcing new prey
Whoever started an argument with the two of us
Had to be careful to not swear or cuss

People would pass by and say
"Hey little girls" Have a nice day
Never really seeing the devils underneath
We were smiling away while gritting our teeth

We had a lot of fun as the years rolled on
Fooling everybody was such an easy con
I was her and she was Me
"Boys joined in but nothing was free

She was nice to our boyfriends and I was really mean
It soon turned out they were never that keen
Finding out quicker than a lightning strike
Which one they hated and the one they liked

People would pass by and say
"Hey little girls" Have a nice day
Never really seeing the devils underneath
We were smiling away while gritting our teeth

We knew each other oh so well
Together Daily casting those spells
We finished each other’s sentences,
Oh So many resemblances

Our parents treated us like works of art
Couldn’t tell us both apart
We were born as twins just a minute apart
Identical from the very start.

People would pass by and say
"Hey little girls" Have a nice day
Never really seeing the devils underneath
We were smiling away while gritting our teeth

We’ve grown up now and we share a true bond
We talk every day sharing laughter and songs
Living as neighbors not worlds apart
Loving each other within our hearts
