The shadows in the hallway are giving us a scare
Is that a spooky spider? Or is that bat still hiding there?
Floating together through the coolness of the air
Planning a spooky gig as a band with great flair
Just a pack of friendly ghosts, afraid of the dark!
Doing all our haunting when the lights begin to spark
Back in 1982 we used to rock the stage
But now we're dead we’re gonna do it from our eerie grave
Step to the left lift your hands up high,
Do the ‘Flashlight Shuffle’ as we float on by
Wave your glow sticks even though they cannot be seen
The loudest ghostly band on this All Hallows Eve
You go grab the sheets , I’ll plug the speakers in,
Hang up the disco ball and let the party now begin
Us ghosts rocking out under the moonlight
We’re the phantom spirits playing in the graveyard tonight
Johnny’s on the drums and Sally’s on guitar,
We don’t know who’s on keys but he’s the best by far
Got some brand new rhythms to get you on your feet
Even vamps and monsters can’t resist our haunting beat
Step to the left, lift your hands up high,
Do the "Flashlight Shuffle" as we float on by!
Wave your glow sticks even though they cannot be seen
The loudest, ghostly band on this All Hallows Eve
We miss the auditoriums, the places that we played
So we’re putting on a gig for the Halloween brigade
Get your dancing grooves on, get up on your feet
And dance with us with this bright light beat
Step to the left, lift your hands up high,
Do the "Flashlight Shuffle" as we float on by!
Wave your glow sticks even though they cannot be seen
The loudest ghostly band on this All Hallows Eve
Now were shaking in our boots, we're frozen to the bone
People from the town scream out, don’t leave us here alone
Keep the lights on! Yeah, keep 'em burning bright"
We will keep on rocking till next All Hallows Night.
Step to the left, lift your hands up high,
Do the "Flashlight Shuffle" as we float on by!
Wave your glow sticks even though they cannot be seen
The loudest, ghostly band plays on our All Hallows Eve
Bop along with the coolest ghosts
Making great music yeah the very best of hosts
