Peak Time travel Blues

Peak time travel has stopped me in my tracks

Controlling My Movement just telling the facts

The lines on my brow and stress in my face

The crack in my smile all over the place

I don't want to be reminded of the time

I don't want to be penalized and told of my crime

For being out too early or coming home late

Transport for London You can do one mate

Parking cars with Ringo is another Bug Bear

I don't have an I pad Don't make Me swear

And if I phone the number it says I need an APP

All this is useless and utter crap

I end up parking so I can take the Train

Charged by the Council I'm going insane

Fifty Five Pounds For a Two Hour stay

All because I failed to pay

Peak time travel has stopped me in my tracks

Controlling My Movement just telling the facts

The lines on my brow and stress in my face

The crack in my smile all over the place

A car park charge that I could not access

Not with cash or card no less

So stick Your Ring up Your Ass

Its a scam a rip off a con no less

Pensioners can remember when parking was a breeze

And now its a mission and leaves us un-eased

Put your scams back in the tray

The one that says Have a nice Day

You are cheating your elderly lawful  folk

I don't Chew Gum and Do not smoke

But I have to pay your fines for the schemes

That You dream up to kill our means

Peak time travel has stopped me in my tracks

Controlling My Movement just telling the facts

The lines on my brow and stress in my face

The crack in my smile all over the place

I spend most days not getting out of Bed

This is the only way No tears get shed

If I try to go out God forbid I park My Car

So  your vultures an hunt me from afar.

I hate this planet but something tells Me Soon

You will be painting Double Yellows on The Moon.

Stick your Your Wardens where the sun don't shine

I'm staying in bed with a bottle of wine.

Whoah Whoah Whoah and Woah some more

Give us a break  I'm crying for sure

Peak time travel has stopped me in my tracks

Controlling My Movement just telling the facts

The lines on my brow and stress in my face

The crack in my smile all over the place.
