Santa's Way

 Christmas was the warmest time

Likened to a nursery rhyme

 A real reason to raise a cheer

On a Cold night and time of year

As a child receiving gifts

A time of Joy giving us a lift

Santa came to save the day

Hoping and praying he comes our way

From chimneys up on the roof above

The sleigh bells ringing one true love

I cant think of a better time

and one thing is for sure

Santa made it a special day for me

leaving those gifts for family

With presents wrapped with tinsel for kings

So many toys and special things

Awaking early on Christmas day

Listening to the church bells ringing today

Carole singers and marching bands

Salvation army's outstretched hand

collecting coinage for the poor

And knocking on our neighbor's door

Giving some change gave us a lift

just like when we received a gift

A  special message that felt like love

Thank You Christmas for the Love

As we grow old and remember the days

when wonderous things within our gaze

were simple and pure like a crackers joke

we raise a glass to friends and folk

Ho ho ho Santa's  on his way 

listen  for the Reindeer and Santa's Sleigh

Christmas Lunch such a feast like dinner

The Biggest Turkey was such a winner

Cooked over night on Christmas Eve

With lots of trimmings I do believe

Pour on the gravy, Eat while hot

Sipping Sherry or a whiskey shot

A champagne toast to those never forgot

Sharing the Love for just one day

Seemed so special but faded away

As back to work and The cold

For Children, our Parents and the old

Back to the memory of being young

A brand New Year having begun

Its not the same as it once was

I will tell you for nothing that is because

Our lives and once Christian belief

Have been stolen away by the third world thief 

The Anti Christ like grains of sand

Have  invaded the once great promised land

We didn't sit in trenches on the western front

To be taken for fools and to be quite blunt

We will overcome your Master plan

To Rid our religion from our own land

 So let the Bells Of Christmas Cheer you tonight

Give over your soul to gods holy light

Drink and be merry And Sleep sound tonight

Santa is coming to put things right

Children Laugh and always believe

That Special Meaning of the Christmas Tree
