Retirement Plan

 I am old " A Fisherman"

I have a great retirement plan

Which I will share with You young man

Not everyone desires my Dream

Spent upon a calming stream

A life afloat upon me boat

With tackle hook and bobbing float

All I need is a folding chair

Wading Boots and water proof gear

Add to that my Rod and line

Summer days and wasting time

I'll want for nothing when day is done

I'll sit here Snooze and wait my son

The rod alarm will awake me if

I have a bite from a Fish

Colored Flies and Maggot Bait

A Bottle of Wine and table crate

Set up on a hidden swim

Rod is ready to reel em in

Hooking a nice big Rainbow trout

One that I could boast about

Could even catch a Mirror Carp

while sat upon a plastic tarp

Be a part of an angling team

and fill my net with Rudd or Bream

All I need is a folding chair

Add to that my Rod and line

Summer days and wasting time

End of day wait for my coach

outside the Pub with eel or Roach

The wife back home will be so pleased

We can have the trout with beer and cheese

So that's me done for when I'm old

And stories of my Fishing told

There is no better retirement Plan

You would do well to copy it Man.
