Busy Lives!

Excuse Me Mother as I'm on the clock"

I wont listen as I'm on Tick Tock

"Call back later I may fit you in"

For now I'm dancing a lovely routine

We seem to have such Busy Lives

Your voice it cuts just like a knife

"I must be heading out of town

Your calls and questions get me down"

While your Young and have your Toys

That mobile that you so enjoy

Reading, Writing and talkin too

Are as important to me as should be for you

"I'll call You when I make it home"

Your in my bag  here on my phone

"I will check my phone's Incoming Mail"

Once I've filed, painted and shaped my nails

Sorry again "I'm ending this call"

The shops are closing in the Mall

Reading your Text takes too much time

"Don't bully Me Its such a crime"

"I really don't know My Daughter Dear

So listen up and hear me clear"!

Before A.I re-wrote the code

Our lives were simple "No overload"

While your Young and have your Toys

That mobile that you so enjoy

Reading, Writing and talkin too

Are as important to me as should be for you

"Well I cant believe Mother that's all you had" ?

Postage stamps, Pens and writing pads"

I would have hated living back then

When every day you walked to your Friends

Finding that they were not home

And walking back once more alone

Life with Fashion, Record stores too

Must have been boringly simple for you?

No it was great, Staying out late

Street light told us so goodnight Mate

Staying out in the street not a good idea

As local Bobby clipped your ear

While your Young and have your Toys

That mobile that you so enjoy

Reading, Writing and talkin too

Are as important to me as should be for you

Its not like that anymore

We fought the bullies in two world wars

Time moves on and Happy or Sad

We admire the past" The good and bad"

This chat has seemed pointless

Not worthy of Me

We have one thing in common

Please cant you see

While your Young and have your Toys

That mobile that you so enjoy

Reading, Writing and talkin too

Are as important to me as should be for you

Agree to disagree maybe once more

Freedom of choice a decision I'm sure

Just Text, Talk or call me when you can see

Its easier than fighting" Cant You See?

Cest la vie Cest la vie Cest la vie

Its easier than fighting" Cant You See?

My Favorite Girl

Has it stopped raining where you are

Are you contemplating using the car

To go and see your best friend

Or maybe stay home till the downpour ends

We haven't seen the sun for so many days

It seems so common not just a phase

Lets make a date for lunch somewhere

Go out and party if we dare

Show off your best side while I show mine

"Your looking great yeah You look so fine"

Its been to long since we really talked

Remember the days when we just walked?

Dressed to the nines just for fun

Feeling good, looking sharp as if spring had sprung

The clocks go forward early March

Lets chat and laugh while under the Arch

The Park seems appealing with Dafs in bloom

Squeeze up and make a little more room

So how have you been My favorite Girl

Are you up for a dance or maybe a twirl?

Show off your best side while I show mine

"Your looking great yeah You look so fine"

Its been to long since we really talked

Remember the days when we just walked?

Admiring Nature the Birds and Bees

Stopping for shade under the tree's

Just somewhere to escape from normal life

Not feeling the stress or sharpening knives

Our days are numbered as we have grown old

Older still and dreading the cold

Lets make the most of Summer This Year

Sit and Picnic drink a cold beer

Show off your best side while I show mine

"Your looking great yeah You look so fine"

Its been to long since we really talked

Remember the days when we just walked?

A shandy or two with something to eat

Sat by the stream "That cant be beat"

Take in the view and breath it all in

Raise a toast with Cocktails again

Cheers My love yeah my turtle Dove

The Moon is full just like our love

Raise your glass to a Summers Day

When old folk like us come out to play

Show off your best side while I show mine

"Your looking great yeah You look so fine"

Its been to long since we really talked

Remember the days when we just walked?

Make the Most of this time of year

The memories the laughs and maybe a tear

I love you Honey and let it be known

When we are away or just sat at home

My thoughts of you feel good in my head

Lets just enjoy what lies ahead

If I go first I'll wait for You

If you go first just wait for me too

If I go first I'll wait for You

If you go first just wait for me too

Wolfie's Redemption

The big bad wolf once wore a frown

And planned to blow the pigs house down

But since he saw Reds Gran in town

He's Changed into her dressing gown

Reds granny used to live in the woods

And Wolfie thought she had the goods

His hunger got the better of him

Without  good food he looked so slim

The Daily Record front page news

reports a Wolf has blown a fuse

The scandal heard around the town

As he failed to blow The Houses Down

Wolves are known for living in packs

But Wolfie likes his sweater and slacks

The three little runts known as Pigs

Lived in a house made of Bricks

He huffed and puffed to no avail

Got caught by the Bill and now on bail

He decided to turn a brand new leaf

So now no longer The forest thief

The Daily Record front page news

reports a Wolf has blown a fuse

The scandal heard around the town

As he failed to blow The Houses Down

Red Riding gave him a place to stay

At granny's secret hide away

He does the dishes without a frown

Spends his time folding eider down

The three little pigs point and laugh

When they see him with the diner staff

Coffee is ordered as no pork chops

If he grabs a pig you better call the cops

The Daily Record front page news

reports a Wolf has blown a fuse

The scandal heard around the town

As he failed to blow The Houses Down

The neon lights and Juke box sound

help him relax like a lap dog hound

He isn't aggressive after a Meal

The Wolf in sheep's clothing is no big deal

Only one thing for the waitress to say

I wonder why he waits all day?

He buys a Coffee Nescafe

For the  slightest chance to catch his prey

The Daily Record front page news

reports a Wolf has blown a fuse

The scandal heard around the town

As he failed to blow The Houses Down

Granny and Red think he has changed

But would not trust him in the Chicken Range

Hurry home you little Runts

As Wolfie will grab  you for his lunch

Hurry home 3 little pigs

As Wolfie once more is up to tricks

Hurry home you little Runts

As Wolfie will grab  you for his lunch

Run little piggies Run Run Run

Gossip Girls

Hey Lou " Are You There"?

I'm at the window with something to share

I just heard something really cool

A rumor spread outside school

Nothing to do but Gossip Girls

You should be dealing with those curls

Keep out of business mind your own

Stay away and off the phone

"Yeah why not" A voice said clear

From the block of flats the second tier

I can tell you what I heard from another

In secret Hush don't tell her Mother

Just as she whispered another voice

Calling from above her Cousin Joyce

We waved to her as she quipped in

What's that You said? Oh I love Sin

Nothing to do but Gossip Girls

You should be dealing with those curls

Keep out of business mind your own

Stay away and off the phone

Coffee and cake available at mine

Come up and see me anytime

Rumors abound I love hearsay

So share the detail with us today

I cannot tell without consequence

So keep it quiet in confidence

Please don't tell that I told You

What may or may not be true

Nothing to do but Gossip Girls

You should be dealing with those curls

Keep out of business mind your own

Stay away and off the phone

We can eat the cake and drink the tea

Keeping a secret" Just us three

Not repeat like Chinese whispers

And end up hearing related Twisters

Tomorrow when were back at school

Keep it quiet don't act the fool

Say nothing and stay real cool

Nothing to do but Gossip Girls

You should be dealing with those curls

Keep out of business mind your own

Stay away and off the phone

Hello Hello are you there

I got something for you to hear

Hello Hello are you there

I got something for you to hear

Dot

I have seen a crazy thing

A vision a dream or so it seemed

Just before I fell asleep

Beneath the cover "Dare I peep"?

I rubbed My eyes and scanned around

 Hearing the weirdest strangest sound

A tiny Girl with huge blue eyes

A dimpled Nose quite small in size

Her hair was streaked in black and blue

Tied with gingham that matched her shoes

I am here to comfort you

When ever you are feeling Blue

Her dress was casual with a Country feel

Denim material cut to her heel

Sitting and staring upon a Stool

Unsurprised and very cool

I raised my head and put my pillow up

As she lifted her coffee cup

The Mug she held was small and pink

You sent for Me " She said" I think

Actually I quickly replied

If I'm mistaken woe betide

The Constant Prayer that You Made

Saying  you were once afraid

I am here to comfort you

When ever you are feeling Blue

Never alone as we are two

As from your prayer I am with You

No one can see me "Only You"

I can keep a secret "Can You Too"?

Call Me dot for that is my name

Night and Day I am The same

Here to help you in any way

Here for You both Night And Day

So now when I want company

Dot is there so Wondrously

Sometimes I'm Caught by surprise

And again I have to rub my eyes

Dot sends Me a Get well kiss

Misunderstood I make a wish

I am here to comfort you

When ever you are feeling Blue

Never alone as we are two

As from your prayer I am with You

Bystanders seem to stop and stare

As While with Dot Their unaware

Not knowing whom I'm talking to

So I just laugh and Dot Does too.

I am here to comfort you

When ever you are feeling Blue

Never alone as we are two

As from your prayer I am with You

Stay with Me My tiny Friend
Imaginary till the end

Tell Me Dot "How are You Today"?
Lets Just dream " If that's O.K

O.K O.K O.K O.K
Lets just dream the day away.

Villains Tale

What If there had really been

No Malificent or Evil Queen?

When we were young we read about

The fairy stories without a doubt

Villains for certain are in agreement

The tales foretold are of Mistreatment

They made great plans to be rewarded

But always were to be aborted

A sea witch and her evil eels

With tentacles draped in pearls

Tried to steal Ariel's voice

Her plan by triton was destroyed

Swash buckling Tales of Peter Pan

Ticking Croc bites off Hook's Hand

Tinker Bell with magic Dust

Deceives Wendy through her Lust

Villains for certain are in agreement

The tales foretold are of Mistreatment

They made great plans to be rewarded

But always were to be aborted

Princesses seem to get ground down

when Villains turn up in the town

We cheer the Prince the hero and bride

The wicked Villain cast aside

Take the story of Young Snow White

The Evil queen, Mirror and light

Raising her arm and fisted hand

She were not the fairest in the land

Villains for certain are in agreement

The tales foretold are of Mistreatment

They made great plans to be rewarded

But always were to be aborted

Malificent thought she was clever

Arora's spell to last forever

But she failed as The Castle cheered

For she fell asleep for a hundred years

Villains for certain are in agreement

The tales foretold are of Mistreatment

They made great plans to be rewarded

But always were to be aborted

If being good is to be believed

That itself is quite naïve

For no one figure is full of grace

Even Young Royals know their place

Great Villains frequent every story

for the Hero prince to receive the glory

Jars of potions Books of spells

Knights of old and wishing wells

Jars of potions Books of spells

Knights of old and wishing wells

Hocus Pocus Hocus pocus

Books of spells keep in focus

Great Villains frequent every story

for the Hero prince to receive the glory

Glory Glory Glory Be

The villain has the secret key

Money to Burn

The juke box kids gonna lift the lid

So grab a table and a chair

Order a Burger with loaded fries

While putting up your hair

He takes a coin from his back pocket

Shouts come on! then "lets rock it"!

Selects a number from his motor head

We listen as he knocks us dead

He presses "A" nineteen Then the record drops

The Needle rides within the groove

T.Rex begin to Rock

Get it on or Bang a Gong

Turn up the Volume within this song

We love to hear it way up loud

Like Nazareth Loud and Proud

There is a queue behind The Juke Box Kid

waiting on their turn

They will have to suck it up

For he's got money to burn burn burn

The next in line is G thirty nine

Your waiting on something so divine

Its Eddie Cochran and Summer time Blues

The whole dam place is blowing a fuse

Another press is on the cards

This joint is loud and Rocking hard

There is a queue behind The Juke Box Kid

so now he really flips his lid

people waiting on their turn

For he's got money to burn burn burn

B Fifty Two is his third choice

Shouts and screams raising his voice

Alice is loud and has us fooled

They never taught this in our schools

There is a queue behind The Juke Box Kid

waiting on their turn

They will have to suck it up

For he's got money to burn burn burn

Another coin goes in with a shout of

Play a little Blues

The press of W Fifty Five

The Sound of Queen keeps yourself alive

B sides too are in line to blow this place apart

Sunken Rags Jitterbug Love where do you wanna start

Ruby Tuesday, God only knows, and don't forget Maggie May

Keep feeding the juke box all night long to this very day

There is a queue behind The Juke Box Kid

waiting on their turn

They will have to suck it up

For he's got money to burn burn burn

Don't forget Johnny Walker who loved the seventies

Five Hundred and sixty seven entered into surely what must be

The greatest Jukebox in the world and it will always be

Free Bird the last track that our johnny chose

A Sad Goodbye bleeding heart and a blood red rose

Listen up if you agree

To remember this and remember Me

Put that coin into the slot

and play that Country Fused with Rock

There is a queue behind The Juke Box Kid

waiting on their turn

They will have to suck it up

For he's got money to burn burn burn

You cannot rid the jukebox kid

For he's got money to burn burn burn

Yeah "He's got Money To Burn"

Silent Assassin

It were nineteen thirty when I sat down

In the Casino just outside uptown

The room was full with noise and sound

The night were young" My Table Found"

Players eager to start a game

Hold em poker was the aim

Getting comfy in my seat

I could here another heartbeat

A tall slender Woman with piercing Blue eyes

Silver Grey Hair added to disguise

Striking Lips of Pillar box red

And a Smile to knock any Man Dead

We all stood as she took her seat

Dripping in Jewels looking complete

This cool classy woman was making me

Rethink my aim and strategy

While we played hand after hand

I tried to keep my focus and

Not look to seem a little blush

when she turned me over with a Flush

An expensive night losing our cash

To the striking Beauty " Our hopes were dashed"

We ended up with zero chips

As the Silent Assassin pursed her lips

We all stood as she took her seat

Dripping in Jewels looking complete

This cool classy woman was making me

Rethink my aim and strategy

Laughing as she left the floor

Her proceeds banked,  Her balance soars

The moment came when she did smile

The Silent Assassin won with style

The way she sat and held her gaze

Luring all in to the Silent Maze

So if you see her approach your table

Leave the game if you are able

For You will lose more than money

but also your wealth for she loves Honey.

We all stood as she took her seat

Dripping in Jewels looking complete

This cool classy woman was making me

Rethink my aim and strategy

Darting Dynamo

 Stepping up to the ockee

its going to be so much fun

This kid is dynamite!!

Even though he is still young

The difference in age

Is on another page

But his pa makes him understand

You gotta stand up like a Man

The best of three will help you see

Keeping up is your best bet

You wont enjoy being beat

But its the best your gonna get

Nearest the Bull will decide the call

For whom is going first

Don't blame me if your nowhere near

Or in fact your even worse

Come on lets Rock!

Around the clock!

"Keep outta the black and in the Red"

Shanghai is up for three in a bed

A double to start may break your heart

So lets get on with the Show

You hit the bull while I hit the ten

How that happened I'll never know

You registered a ton forty

I'm rubbing my chin that's so naughty

Have you been practicing my son

As I reply with a hundred and one

Before I know it the kid gets down

To a double top "not hanging around"

I cant compete stuck on one eight four

He steps up quick to take the floor

His first dart bounces off the wire

He needs to adjust "Just a little Higher"

The second dart does the trick

I'm starting to feel a little sick

Come on lets Rock!

Around the clock!

"Keep outta the black and in the Red"

Shanghai is up for three in a bed

Game on Pa is the shout

I gotta throw better or I'm out

A one two five to start the game

Keeps my eye on the prize with no shame

He steps up and low and behold

A Ton eighty he unfolds

Have I been taken for a hustle

I need to do better and show a little muscle

My first dart is in off the wire

A sixty for sure and I'm on fire

The next one goes into the double

I need the treble or maybe in trouble

It bounced straight out and onto the floor

If the kid beats me "Show me the door"

"He is on it"  would you believe?

Another full house One eighty retrieved

My game is done and I'm on the run

I score just a miserly seventy one

A nine dart finish surely not

Come on son "Show me what You Got!"

Hits the sixty then treble nineteen

The double twelve It sounds obscene

Come on lets Rock!

Around the clock!

"Keep outta the black and in the Red"

Shanghai is up for three in a bed

The dart leaves his hand and in a flash

He holds out his paw and takes the cash

I have never seen anything like that

Only ten years old and still a brat.

Five Oh One Five Oh One Five Oh One its so much fun

So much fun yeah so much fun  Five Oh One yeah five oh one

Grandpa's Datsun

As a Child I visited my Grandpa

He lived outta town but not too far

And every Sunday when I were young

We talked about cars and his Datsun

One summers day he asked for Me

To help him re-spray the body

I replied I would love to Gramps

As we pushed it up onto the ramps

I suggested to fill the dents

What a good Idea with Fixi Dent?

Probably with plastic Padding

Rub it down while we're chatting

On how to put the engine back

The carburetor and pinion rack

As a Child I visited my Grandpa

He lived outta town but not too far

And every Sunday when I were young

We talked about cars and his Datsun

Oh yes and we could soup it up

With some Oxtail broth from a cup

Or maybe we could chrome the wheels

and connect the wires for tire squeals

Being curious as to what

I asked him why the exhaust was hot

He looked at Me with a frown

Its not hot now "It has cooled down"

As a Child I visited my Grandpa

He lived outta town but not too far

And every Sunday when I were young

We talked about cars and his Datsun

This Motor has not had a run

For ages now Its not been fun

So if we can get on with it

Lets work together within this pit

The car it looked a sorry state

I think it needs a new tail-gate

Grandpa started to work away

It was gonna be a very long day

Such curio's upon his shelf

Lots of tools but no elf

The only help he was gonna get

Would come from me my tears and swet

As a Child I visited my Grandpa

He lived outta town but not too far

And every Sunday when I were young

We talked about cars and his Datsun

We grafted all day into the night

And stopped as soon as we lost the light

There is always next Sunday

Looking forward so I say

Grandpa wait for I'll be back

Leave the car up on the jack

We'll take our time to customize and dream

Your Datsun into Nissan Supreme

Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep Beep I say

Get outta our road" Your in our way"

Vroom Vroom Vroom away

Double Jeopardy

I'm standing here at a quarter past two

Don't ask me why as I haven't a clue

As to why I'm here for who or what

There once was a time when I thought you were hot.

You waltzed off with my best friend

Don't say you didn't and don't pretend

When I next saw you "Your face was red"

Had You just gotten outta his bed?

But not now those days of gold are gone

Ever since you did me wrong

I realize now that's why I'm here

Its coming back so I'll make it clear

I'm rap tap rap tapping on your door

Let me in so I can give you what for

Yeah I'm a rap tap rap tapping on your door

Taking my chance to even the score

"Stop Sending those text and email too"

It's not good for me or good for you

I'm so annoyed so answer the door

Let me in so I can give you what for

Yeah I'm a rap tap rap tapping on your door

Taking my chance to even the score

Shouting the odds through your letter box

Rap tap tapping knock knock knock

So listen up and I'll tell you for free

I'm sick and tired of you avoiding me

If you wont answer I'll use my key

Their bringing back double jeopardy

Yeah their bringing back double jeopardy

Sick and tired of you avoiding me

They tried you once there gonna try you again

For making out you were a friend

Telling me this and telling me that

You turned out to be an alley cat

Not giving a dam about my thoughts

"Not once did you flinch in the divorce court"!!

Why oh why wont you answer my calls

Why oh why am I suffering fools

You took off with the car and the family jewels

So why oh why wont you answer my calls.

I'm rap, tap rap, tapping on your door

Let me in so I can give you what for

Yeah I'm a rap tap rap tapping on your door

Taking my chance to even the score

You and me have got history

You always said "Its meant to be"

But now your of a different mind

It seems to me the hurting kind

I'm learning now and growing up fast

Realizing now that love don't last

So open the door and let me in

So I can end this and begin

to rid my mind of your sin

You never did explain to me

So do it now and set me free

I'm rap, tap rap, tapping on your door

Let me in so I can give you what for

Yeah I'm a rap tap rap tapping on your door

Taking my chance to even the score

I'm bringing back double jeopardy

To save my soul and set me free

I'm rap, tap rap, tapping on your door

Let me in so I can give you what for

Yeah I'm a rap tap rap tapping on your door

Taking my chance to even the score

Two Step Hound

I heard a kind of country sound

It came from " A boy and his Puppy Hound"

I looked all around and followed the sound

To no avail could not be found

Hunting far across the fields

Full of corn "This summers Yield"

But where was the boy and his pup

The Hound was howling and wont shut up

I danced and jigged to check the house

Was it off to the north or maybe south

I looked and listened but didn't find

The songs were loud but outta time

I danced right over to the Chicken Shack

Took a two step forward then one step back

Was I doing the Boot scoot slide

Was I being taken for a ride

Hunting far across the fields

Full of corn "This summers Yield"

But where was the boy and his pup

The Hound was howling and wont shut up

That darned sound seemed to be getting close

The Dog a howlin I heard the most

The young boy playing and keeping time

On a six string guitar that cost a Dime

Hunting far across the fields

Full of corn "This summers Yield"

But where was the boy and his pup

The Hound was howling and wont shut up

Finally the song was loud and proud

Way up in the barn they were found

Sitting on a Fresh  rolled hay Bale

Singing Country and sipping ale

The dog played banjo oh so well

Only one  string but couldn't tell

They sounded cool but still outta tune

The boy sang soprano

The Dog howled at the Moon

Hunting far across the fields

Full of corn "This summers Yield"

But where was the boy and his pup

The Hound was howling and wont shut up

One step two step three step four

Sang a Song and danced some more

Step To the Left and step to the right

Enjoying the hoe down till late tonight

One step two step three step four

Sang a Song and danced some more

Step To the Left and step to the right

Enjoying the hoe down till late tonight

Yee Ha Yee Ha Yee ha Take your partner by the hand

Yee Ha Yee Ha Yee Ha Play that fiddle with the band

Banshee Cages

Have you heard in public places

Rumors of the Banshee Cages

Why we have the need for them

And when it suits a Mad Maiden

A Human Maiden starts to shift

A Partial wrath which isn't a gift

Fading Skin and ethereal form

Flowing hair but not the norm

The Full Banshee has Piercing eyes

Vengeful Rage as she cries

Her scream rings out while on all fours

She scratches walls with sharp claws

Have you heard in public places

Rumors of the Banshee Cages

Why we have the need for them

And when it suits a Mad Maiden

Sorrowful Lament Phased with tears

Belies her Beauty and her Years

Prophetic Vision With glowing Aura

Locked inside a concrete Tower

The death herald with blackest veil

Eternal Guardian Will killith Thou

Ancient Robes ripped and torn

The staff of blood reaps the Corn

Have you heard in public places

Rumors of the Banshee Cages

Why we have the need for them

And when it suits a Mad Maiden

They sleep upon a Graveyard Stone

Cliffside, Crossroads always alone

The walk at day within an Abbey

Ruined by times historical galley

Ancient cairn or Forest Glade

But not in the village as forbade

Have you heard in public places

Rumors of the Banshee Cages

Why we have the need for them

And when it suits a Mad Maiden

These Banshee's have fed on fear

So best avoid when they are near

The Banshee cage is very strong

But cant hold them for very long

Be aware of which you fight

Ice Lightning or the Shadow Light

Fire, Water Air or earth

Each of which has its curse

The wail of an amplifying Harp

Keening Dagger Oh so sharp

Crying Crystal necklace

will strangle you and leave you breathless

Lament Lantern can burn and turn

into a Curse or spell bound verse.

Have you heard in public places

Rumors of the Banshee Cages

Why we have the need for them

And when it suits a Mad Maiden

Pretend

Can I pretend to be You

While You pretend to be Me

You can be broke while I can be free

Free to go wherever I please

While You wait for a visitor and day release

What say You "Does it seem fair

What's it like "Do you care

You lied to save your own skin

You get to see Family and Kin

How does it feel especially within

You cant show love only the sin

The sin of your lie so blatantly too

Every word a vicious untruth

"When I get out I'll be looking for You"

Take it from Me its blatantly true

Your gonna know just what its like

Running scared and having to hike

Your way across No mans Land

I will search for you and hunt you down

You lied to save your own skin

You get to see Family and Kin

How does it feel especially within

You cant show love only the sin

You wont know when I'm hot on your tail

I will be close never destined to fail

From getting you back for the tale that you told

And the time I did while getting so old

My life You ruined and didn't even blink

When I got sent down to a Mexican clink

Well get ready to Si Si Senor

A sombrero is coming to break the law

You lied to save your own skin

You get to see Family and Kin

How does it feel especially within

You cant show love only the sin

I'm coming for you to gun you down

Nowhere to run no way outta Town

Can I pretend to be like You

While You pretend to be just like Me

You can be broke while I can be free

Can I pretend to be just like You

While You pretend to be  just like Me

You can pretend to be full of led

Here in the desert while you lay Dead

And I'll pretend to be just like You

Spending the rest of my life in your shoes

Nonsense Twist

I have just looked at my bucket list

And it seems the ending has a twist

As to why you may ask as its only one more task

That I would like to do

Take a week to walk a fortnight

Be a Spaceman on the Moon

Or maybe write a letter and reed it outta tune

I might ask myself the reason why we bother baking bread

I Cant stand the crust or the ducks that I have fed

I have just looked at my bucket list

And it seems the ending has a twist

As to why you may ask as its only one more task

That I would like to do

How many apples have to climb back up a tree

Why do the laces  in my slippers keep on coming free

I didn't wake this morning to be told by you

That My Brown eyes were a slightly shade of Blue

I have just looked at my bucket list

And it seems the ending has a twist

As to why you may ask as its only one more task

That I would like to do

Pass me over a guitar so I can pull a string

I wont be going nowhere in a car without a wing

Have you ever bought second hand?

Had a break not neatly planned?

Well take it from me I have not

I bent the penny in the slot

What the hell are you on you ask?

What's the point of this silly task?

I have just checked out my bucket list

So keep on asking I insist

I have just looked at my bucket list

And it seems the ending has a twist

As to why you may ask as its only one more task

That I would like to do

One day you will work it out

Been nowhere without a doubt

Work it out work it out work it out work it out

Its all nonsense Its all nonsense work it work it work it out.

I have just looked at my bucket list

And it seems the ending has a twist

As to why you may ask as its only one more task

That I would like to do

You can call me Banana's Or throw me a nut

Lets all raise a flower bed while sitting in the hut

I have just looked at my bucket list

And it seems the ending has a twist

Twist Stick stick or twist

Where's me bucket list?

Memory Lane

Taking a trip down memory lane

when thinking things would never change

Looking at photo's from my past

Not knowing what would come to pass

Games were fun around the house

with hide and seek without a doubt

The one safe bet to be fun

but ended with a clout from Mum

She hated to see me swing on the gate

Shouted get down it don't look great

Stay inside don't venture away

You'll never know who will leed you astray

Stay clear of Boys they are just trouble

They act all cool but really just rubble

Staying inside the boundary grass

Her anxiety cannot last

Its beautiful amongst the Roses

while watching the boys strut their poses

The life behind is gone and forgotten

But the recent photo paints me as downtrodden

Looking at photo's from my past

Not knowing what would come to pass

Seems life has faded behind a broken heart

Kids grow up and then part

There own lives and paths to tread

No different to mine as bloods still red

Remembrance of My wedding Day

Sixteen no less and led astray

If I could go back to a place in time

I would back away from such a crime

The crime of giving me away

To a stranger whom would always stray

He fought for king and Country too

Fought with me till black and Blue

I stood my ground and finally saw

A future for Me Why and what for

My sanity to forever be

True to myself my mind and free

There has been love and happiness

Followed by hate and darkness

Sad then happy Lost and found

Joyous times with friends around

The past reminds us how it was

The present is now just because

These are the days when History

Takes it' s part in Victory

Putting the memories back in the box

The ones that scream the ones that shock

But most of all the ones that are Me

And remind us all of family

Long forgotten times that now

Are laying heavy on my brow

Its good to look back now and then

They are there for when ever when.

If my best friend came around to call

It would remind of a Time in school

Taking a trip down memory lane

when thinking things would never change

Looking at photo's from my past

Not knowing what would come to pass

Taking a trip down memory lane

when thinking things would never change

Memory Lane Memory Lane Hoping things will always change

Looking at photo's from my past

Not knowing what would come to pass

Looking at Photos present and past

Love feels good lets hope it lasts

Flight Plan

Two youngsters with heart had a great vision

Of taking to flight there latest ambition

They borrowed tools from their Fathers Shed

And worked from the idea's in their Heads

They knocked and screwed timber together

Then buttoned and sowed pieces of leather

Never mind the time what ever the weather

The Engineers worked hard and hours so long

While mother joined in with the Radio on

After days of prolonged and heavy toil

Covered in cake and Carster oil

The job they started finally done

They were joyous and had great fun

"Lets try it out"!! the younger one said

A shout from Mother " Its time for bed"!

They knocked and screwed timber together

Then buttoned and sowed pieces of leather

Never mind the time what ever the weather

Oh well we can try its flight tomorrow

Maybe success or crash with sorrow

Lets try it then the elder agreed

Oh yes please above the Trees!

They dressed in Goggles, Boots and hats

and home made parachutes on their backs

A maiden flight in The Flying Machine

Standing proud outside on the green

They sat back to back in the new creation

An accident just waiting to happen

The two sped off and picking up speed

Crashed and burned scraping Knees

They knocked and screwed timber together

Then buttoned and sowed pieces of leather

Never mind the time what ever the weather

They were not done and promised to try

Another attempt to reach the sky

Come into the Shed My lads if you please

I have something to show you  "Put you at ease"

Inside the shed and shining so bright

A 2 seater piper microlight

Its very own propeller and tail light

They settled into the cockpit seats

Thumbs up ready with a bag of treats

They turned the key the engine roared

And then with peddles started to soar

Along the path and over the wood

Amazing Fantastic oh so good

They played all day just the two

enjoying each flight like pilots do

They knocked and screwed timber together

Then buttoned and sowed pieces of leather

Never mind the time what ever the weather

As dusk settled in with weary heads

They locked up the plane and headed for bed

With Paper and pen they would start again

A new adventure and plan begins.

Two youngsters with heart had a great vision

Of taking to flight there latest ambition

They borrowed tools from their Fathers Shed

And worked from the idea's in their Heads
