The Young Irish boy took his seat
with a story book in his hand
He opened the book and found a strange wonderland
clad in top hat and long brown boots
a Stranger reached out and took his hand
Whipping through pages The youngster could not understand
The story book held such wonders within
A glorious window about to begin
His heart did flutter as it took flight
With a rainbow of color did pass him by
stories of old such a wonderful sight
Hearts do flutter while taking flight
the beginning of a dream scape upon this night
The stranger shows to him a castle on a hill
and the cottage and village where tales do spill
He took him to see more wonder and tales
then back to the beginning along the trail
Stories of old such a wonderful sight Hearts do flutter while taking flight
He would never attempt to read the book again
The pictures the dreams were never the same
Memories has he and tales to be told
Silver Moons above rivers of Gold
Tales he will tell of stories so bold
to his Children through the eyes of the old.
