The Time

 If I could stop time" What would I do first?

Would Slowing it down make it worse?

When I was Young I did things fast

Never stopping to think or make it last

The Older We get and memories fade

The longer the time we sit in the shade

All good things live in our past

Hiding among the shadows cast

What would I do without Time in my life

Would I be Happy without pain or strife?

Would the days of old seem so far away

And blend into just another day

Would Time seem like it had just begun

And bring us back to a Time of fun?

Yesterday is History Tomorrow a Mystery

If time were lost ? Would we celebrate victory?

The Older We get and memories fade

The longer the time we sit in the shade

Hiding among the shadows cast

Time Moves forward and then turns back

Moves around and goes off track

If you could stop time? What would You do?

Would You to move to the front of the queue?

I try to imagine a life without Time

No Moon at Night and The Sun never to shine

But No we cannot ever stop Time

But turn the clocks back time after time

We can cancel Days out and some day soon

We will all live on the dark side of the Moon

As old folk we know

Our time will come round

While Youngsters have Time

To turn it around

So lets just enjoy each day with our friends

 Hope time stands still and never ends

We can sit indoors ready to rock

the chair in the study under the clock

As its hands whisper tick tock around its face

Time goes quick and gathers pace

Isn't it funny how some words rhyme

Time again with me in my prime

Loving the summer The longest day time

Spent on the patio with Tea and sunshine

When you get older and your made aware

That time don't matter or whether we care

Just say o gosh is it that time already

Time means nothing so take it steady

Ask if you like of what time it is

But Time means nothing "Its simply  Bliss"

Tick tock tick tock Tick Toc Tick Tock

Have a lie in tomorrow turn back that clock
