Future Man

Orbiting in space on a mystery ride

Staring through the porthole on the darker side

My greatest Mission heading for the Moon

But looking forward to getting home soon

It seems all I do is picture your smile

Its helping me go that extra mile

I collect data for the Master plan

A special instruction for the future man

Traveling through  space and nowhere to hide

Staring at the stars on my starboard side

My latest Mission heading for the Moon

But looking forward to returning soon

From this orbit I see the Earth so blue

I just wanna get back to being with You

It may seem cool to be on this Vessel

But take it from me its nothing special

It seems all I do is picture your smile

Its helping me go that extra mile

I collect data for the Master plan

A special instruction for a the future man

I'm working hard within this shell

But missing Home " I guess You can tell"

All this free falling and floating around

No Gravity here but still feelin down

Sitting here waiting for a sign

No signal again "Cant get online"

I will try and call my honey later

If I can connect my Internets data

All I can do is picture your smile

Its helping me go that extra mile

Collecting Cosmic rock and dust

A special mission succeed or bust

Isn't it funny when were together

We talk about nothing but the weather

When up here I never find the time

To speak about anything so sublime

I collect data for the Future Man

A special job for the master plan

I work hard within this shell

I'm missing Home " I guess You can tell"

So many times I lose all connection

But now in the glass I see your reflection

Like a Mirror your face seems close to mine

The stars and your eyes continue to shine

Explorer control sends a last request

Head for Home "We are truly blessed"

Your Mission is done "only one thing to do"

Collect your thoughts and gather the crew

Blast off for home and settle in

For one last night aboard the Tin

You may land in a stormy Sea

Just relax and put your mind at ease

All I can do is picture your smile

Helping me go that extra mile

5 4 3 oh 3 2 1 prepare for home

Your Mission Done
