 Life is just like a Green Baize Table

You start off with hope and a rookies label

You rack those Reds in a Triangle

and begin your break from a different angle

Returning the cue ball to the bottom Bed

Sitting back down taking a drink

Taking a minute with time to think

Your opponent decides to do just the same

but the kiss on the blue opens the game

Getting amongst the Reds are all yours

Freeing up the Black opening doors

You miss a red and cant believe

you go in off the Green and under achieve

Your opponent places the white in the Dee

and shapes to shoot as a Red is free

He aint no fool and plays it real cool

screws the white back and lines up the Blue

The pink is on also to the left hand side

 but he cuts it to fine and it takes a ride

 He took his eye off the ball and went off line

Now is the chance for the rookie to shine

He surely wont miss? Not this time.

Clearing up the reds and just the colors left

Yellow Green and Brown not even a test

Up for the Blue easy on the pink

and now just The black waiting to sink

This Rookie has just won the first frame

and now its time to win the end game

He will be snookered along the way

But he has some luck and trick shots to play

 Back spin and power  makes the ball curve

He will be a champion of his game
