A Whirlwind just blew in

Came through the Door like a Hurricane

We always think we are up for this

 But really our lives are in a twist

Full of Beans and Laughter too

We wonder what will happen to

We watch intensely for things to start to move

These little guys run about in a crazy Groove

They play awhile letting Mum and Dad

Enjoy their Sunday Roast

Its not the kids best of food

They'd rather Jam on Toast

A sandwich of Jam with no crust

A drink of Juice if they must

We are getting far to old for all the noise like clappers

Opening up of pick n mix and throwing of those wrappers

One day we hope to be the winner

and they will sit and eat our dinner

Fun with Lego paper and pens

We tidy up and make amends

while we do it we say a prayer

please take them home or anywhere

Rushing round doing dishes

Grandma snaps her wishbone wishes

Not this time to be so lucky

These kids are like a version of chucky

Nannie fights to put toys away

But tiny terrorist just wanna stay 

They have their own idea

while we freeze with fear

 Finally home time comes

waving off our terrible chums

Grab the coats hats and boots
