Tarot Dance

I sneaked out to watch a gypsy from afar

I could not take my eyes from her

Unobserved I stood beyond  the Lilac Tree

So that she could not see me

The Gypsy danced around a fire

The flames danced too and fanned out higher

Her hair flowed wildly twirled and twisted

Her feet were bare but not blistered

I could not take my eyes from her

Her expression was that of feeling free
